Lone Rock School Mil Levy - NO
Lone Rock is getting desperate for money, and without a levy like this, is likely to loose more (it takes more money to maintain qualifications to retain
existing funding from the Covid slush funds (yes that's still going on, apparently nothing is ever "temporary"). Part of the problem
is because Stevensville School is withholding the money that is supposed to follow Stevensville children when they switch school
districts according to recent school choice legislation. Another part is aging infrastructure that is sometimes failing and in need
of repair/replacement (as per a conversation with Codie, wife of school board member Cody Houtchens).
In my opinion, the government indoctrination mills are largely un-reformable and real school choice cannot happen without significantly replacing them with private schools and home schools. I'm also continuously frustrated by the assumption of all levels of government that the one entity that can never tighten its belt, even when times are tough, is government.
